Zak Group’s design and art direction of Fridericianum, Europe's oldest public museum and home to the art festival documenta, has received a Visual Communication Award from Core77. In 2015 Zak Group created the design and art direction of the exhibitions Marcel Broodthaers and Inhuman.
Zak Group has worked with the Fridericianum team, including director Susanne Pfeffer, to reconsider the institution's relationship to its two hundred and thirty-four year history by participating in its continued reinvention. The post “F. = Fridericianum” describes the development of Zak Group's new identity for Fridericianum.
The Core77 award recognizes Zak Group’s work with leading cultural institutions on projects that encompass identity, print and interactive design. Core77 Design Awards, based in New York, NY, recognizes excellence in all areas of design enterprise and celebrates the richness of the design profession and its practitioners.
